About Nicola

I joined Delamere in October 2021. I had previously worked for 15 years in care out in the community but sadly after Covid the care system changed for me so I applied to work at Delamere and was delighted when was offered a job. I work days and nights and no two are the same! I love seeing the change in our guests after just a few days of being here at Delamere and feel proud knowing I’ve helped even in a small way.

Responsibilities at Delamere

  • Looking after the Stop guests at the beginning of their journey
  • Assisting the nurses with other tasks
  • Being there for support whether that’s sitting having a cup of tea with a guest or walking around the grounds
