Delamere opiate rehab

Our rural Cheshire location is the ideal space to stop a prescription drug addiction and take the time to focus wholeheartedly on getting well. If you are concerned about your own or a loved one’s relationship with opiates, it may be time to seek treatment from an opiate rehab centre like Delamere.

Residential rehab is the best course of action for overcoming opiate addiction. Here at Delamere, we offer leading residential rehab programmes, giving you time to press the pause button on your life in a comfortable, safe and relaxing space. Rather than adhering to the conventional step-based programmes, we look at the underlying factors that drive your behaviour and adopt a more holistic approach to recovery. Only by recognising what got you here can you begin to positively shape your future.

Through 1-1 and group therapy, creative therapies, and somatic healing work, we’ll help you transform your life and build a brighter future free from addiction. A stay at our private rehab clinic begins with an assisted opiate detox under the supervision of our team of medical professionals.

Upon arrival, guests will receive a medical assessment during which time our doctors will decide the best course of medication to comfortably and safely support your detoxification. The next phases of treatment at our Delamere retreat will address the psychological addiction and support your healing from it. We will continue to support your post-retreat recovery with phase 4 of our opiate rehab programme at which time you will be invited to attend weekly sessions at Delamere with a small group of your peers.

The power of the pen

“During my active addiction, I felt lost and isolated, I didn’t see a future. Looking back on reflection I wasn’t living, just existing.” – Suzanne, Former Delamere Guest

Why is opiate rehab important?

For those who suffer from an opiate addiction, opiate rehab can have life-changing and life-saving results. Although a life without opiates may be difficult to imagine now, remember, recovery is a process so it’s important to focus on one step at a time. The first step is reaching out for help. At Delamere, our guests participate in group therapy sessions covering modules including adverse childhood experiences and grief and loss. One profound benefit of these sessions is the community of peers they create.

Opening up in front of, and building relationships with, those in similar situations helps to take away some of the shame surrounding guests’ addictions. Importantly, this also helps our guests feel less isolated and alone and highlights that others are going through similar situations, giving them another supportive community to turn to for them to turn to in difficult times.

“Our aim is to help guests make sense of their addiction and ultimately move forward in their lives. We call this growing beyond addiction.”

The Delamere approach to opiate rehab

An inpatient stay at Delamere is a deliberately intensive 4-phase opiate rehab programme, one which we have crafted over time and has helped many participants recover. Our emphasis is on holistic care to treat addiction and associated issues. This means that we treat the whole person rather than just the symptoms they present with. We believe that successful treatment runs far deeper than simply stopping the addictive substance or behaviour.

Our approach at Delamere comprises 4 core phases: Stop, Start, Grow, & Bloom. Everything we offer at Delamere aims at effective and lasting outcomes in addiction treatment:

  • Stop Icon
    Stage 1: Stop

This phase addresses any physical aspects of your addiction. Our medical team is on hand 24/7 to ensure a safe and effective withdrawal.

  • Start Icon
    Stage 2: Start

During ‘Start’ we help identify the psychological underpinnings of your dependency as you participate in a variety of addiction treatment therapies.

  • Grow Icon
    Stage 3: Grow

Our ‘Grow’ phase is the process of integrating the Delamere learning experience into life after treatment.

  • Bloom Icon (Use)
    Stage 4: Bloom

Our ‘Bloom’ phase offers intensive support on a weekly basis for the first three months of recovery once guests return home.

Frequently asked questions about opiate rehab

When should I visit opiate drug rehab?

If you or someone you care for has a problem controlling their opiate consumption, it is important to visit an opiate rehab centre as soon as possible. Addiction is a progressive disorder and inaction will likely only worsen the issue. The sooner you seek help for an opiate addiction, the more likely recovery will be.

How long is a stay at an opiate rehab centre?

At Delamere, a typical length of stay for an opiate rehab programme is 28 days. Where necessary we offer longer stays to ensure you are getting the treatment you require. Room rates are available to view, enabling you to find the best option for you or a loved one.
