Delamere private prescription drug rehab

Whether you’re looking for benzodiazepine rehab, morphine rehab, rehab for sleeping pill addiction, or a prescription drug rehab programme for any other addictive drugs, Delamere is here to help.

Within our purpose-built, private rehab clinic in rural Cheshire, we provide our guests with an intensive 4-phase treatment plan that blends traditional and evidence-based therapies with more innovative treatments that are not available at other prescription drug addiction rehabs.

At Delamere, we have a fantastic team of dedicated medical professionals, therapists, lived-experience practitioners, and support staff, many of whom can call upon their own experience of addiction and recovery to support our guests and take the shame away from addiction.

Our tranquil countryside location is the perfect environment to stop addiction, complete a prescription drug rehab program, and foster new beginnings and lasting change.

In supporting our guests we provide personalised and holistic care that addresses not only the addictive behaviour, yet also whatever it might be that is underpinning the addictive behaviour.

After achieving a safe and supported prescription drug detox, our guests will take part in four 1-1 counselling sessions a week, as well as holistic therapies including breathwork, yoga, equine therapy, mindfulness, meditation, art, and music. The group process at Delamere is a powerful component that includes group therapy as well as experiential sessions, psycho-education, and interactive group workshops. Modules cover themes such as guilt and shame, grief and loss, relationships, triggers, alert zones, adverse childhood experiences, self-esteem, cognitive distortions, stress and anxiety, and anhedonia. Our team, programme, and approach are trauma-informed.

Tour of Delamere, the UK’s only purpose-built rehab

The 28 days recovery I completed has changed my life and put a whole new perspective on my life and I can’t thank the lovely staff for all the support they provided me on my down days. Staff that you really do connect with and have respect for you. Highly recommended. Will always hold my journey in Delamere in my heart as it’s changed my whole outlook and perspective on my future.” – Jenna Keates, Former Delamere Guest

Why is prescription drug rehab important?

Many individuals make the mistake of thinking that because a drug is legitimately prescribed it is safe and non-addictive. Whilst with many medications, such as antibiotics, this is the case, it does not extend to addictive prescription drugs. Prescription drug abuse and addiction have become a major health concern worldwide. Prescription drug rehab at Delamere allows guests to complete their treatment away

from the distractions of daily life in a safe and supportive environment. Group therapies are a powerful part of the healing process here at Delamere, allowing guests to share their thoughts and feelings with fellow guests on their own recovery journeys. We firmly believe in helping guests make sense of their experience without judgment, helping them acquire effective coping strategies and the ‘tools’ of recovery.

“Trauma and addiction experiences are met with words that celebrate coping strategies. We use affirming language that celebrate past survival strategies and coping mechanisms. This helps clients to feel self-compassion and be connected to their own story.”

The Delamere approach to prescription drug rehab

An inpatient stay at Delamere is a deliberately intensive 4-phase prescription drug rehab programme, one which we have crafted over time and has helped many participants recover. Our emphasis is on holistic care to treat addiction and associated issues. This means that we treat the whole person rather than just the symptoms they present with. We believe that successful treatment runs far deeper than simply stopping the addictive substance or behaviour.

Our approach at Delamere comprises 4 core phases: Stop, Start, Grow, & Bloom. Everything we offer at Delamere aims at effective and lasting outcomes in addiction treatment:

  • Stop Icon
    Stage 1: Stop

This phase addresses any physical aspects of your addiction. Our medical team is on hand 24/7 to ensure a safe and effective withdrawal.

  • Start Icon
    Stage 2: Start

During ‘Start’ we help identify the psychological underpinnings of your dependency as you participate in a variety of addiction treatment therapies.

  • Grow Icon
    Stage 3: Grow

Our ‘Grow’ phase is the process of integrating the Delamere learning experience into life after treatment.

  • Bloom Icon (Use)
    Stage 4: Bloom

Our ‘Bloom’ phase offers intensive support on a weekly basis for the first three months of recovery once guests return home.

Frequently asked questions about prescription drug rehab

How much does prescription drug rehab cost?

Residential prescription drug addiction rehab is proven to be the most effective way to tackle addiction. Treatment at a private prescription drug rehab like Delamere can be accessed immediately. Room rates at Delamere based on 28 day residential stay, including clinical detox and 12 months aftercare start at £18,000 per week.

Paying privately for your prescription drug rehabilitation programme has a number of benefits :

  • No waiting lists – gain immediate, same-day admission into treatment.
  • Access better levels of accommodation, care and staffing ratios.
  • Benefit from a more individual treatment programme tailored to your needs.
  • No need for a GP referral.
  • Private treatment is discreet and confidential.
What happens after prescription drug rehab?

This is a common concern – that somehow after undergoing prescription drug rehab you will be left to your own devices and all your hard work achieved during your inpatient stay will be undone. Delamere operates differently from other rehabs in that we help our patients to fully integrate into a drug-free life. We do not abandon you or leave you to figure this out on your own. The last thing we want is for all your hard work to go to waste.

When guests complete their residential stay we encourage them to stay connected and supported via our ‘Bloom’ and rehab aftercare programmes which are available at no incremental cost.
