Delamere Expands to Nottingham with Second Purpose-Built Facility

Delamere is delighted to announce that work has begun on our second purpose-built addiction treatment facility.

This marks a major milestone for Delamere, as we expand beyond our Cheshire base to bring our compassionate, evidence-led model of addiction treatment to a new 32-bed site in Nottingham.

Why We’re Building a Second Site

Delamere was founded in 2017 with a vision to create a centre of excellence for addiction treatment, providing compassionate expertise for people ready to recover, and the families trying to help them.

We opened our first Cheshire-based purpose-built facility in March 2020. Since then, almost 1,500 guests have completed the pioneering Delamere residential programme.

Here at Delamere, our goal is to help as many people as possible grow beyond addiction. The expansion to our Nottingham site allows us to support more people struggling with substance misuse, burnout, and behavioural addiction.

Our Purpose-Built Nottingham Facility

The purpose-built facility in Nottingham will provide 32 en-suite rooms and support up to 416 guests a year.

The new facility has been designed around our belief that environment is an essential element of recovery. Our Nottingham facility will be set within 4.7 hectares, including high-quality guest accommodation, peaceful therapy spaces, and landscaped courtyards with quiet areas for reflection.

We believe in providing an environment that allows our guests to create space between themselves and addiction. That’s why our Nottingham site will provide spaces for guests to relax and unwind, including an on-site gym and spa, relaxing communal spaces, and tranquil gardens.

The site has been carefully planned to offer privacy, calm, and dignity for anyone who stays with us. This will allow us to continue to offer our treatment model combining clinical care, therapeutic expertise, and holistic practices, including equine therapy, breathwork, and cold-water therapy.

Breaking Ground at Our Nottingham Site

Work has now begun at our Nottingham site to develop our leading purpose-built facility.

This milestone will be celebrated with a breaking ground ceremony at the Nottingham site on Monday, 22^nd June. Work at the site will then continue with the goal of opening to guests at the end of 2027.
