Delamere ketamine rehab

While staying at our inpatient rehab centre, guests will take part in an intensive 4-step programme that we have carefully crafted with respected industry professionals.

Delamere is a luxury private rehab clinic located in rural Cheshire. Our Delamere team comprises doctors, 24-hour on-site nurses, counsellors, and support staff, many of whom can provide practical insight into addiction and recovery through their own lived experiences. At Delamere, we are committed to equipping our guests with the addiction treatment and tools they need to make lasting changes in their lives.

Our 4-phase treatment model is intentionally designed to bring about positive change in a relatively short amount of time. Through 1-1 and group counselling, Recovery Mentoring sessions, as well as a range of holistic therapies, guests will be able to get to the root cause of what led them to addiction in the first place.

Somatic practices like yoga, breathwork, and meditation help our guests heal from past traumas to allow them to grow beyond addiction.

As with any ketamine rehab centre, the first step at Delamere is to complete a successful ketamine detox. However, what sets us apart from most is our individualised, tailored approach to this process; guests will be under the supervision of doctors and 24-hour on-site nurses who can administer medications when necessary to make this stage as comfortable as possible. After the body has withdrawn from the physical dependency, the next stage of ketamine rehab involves addressing the root causes of addiction and intensive healing. From here our guests will learn to develop coping strategies and work to find additional rehab aftercare services local to them to support their continued recovery.

Why is ketamine rehab important?

Ketamine has been widely used in the UK as a pharmaceutical drug for over twenty years, mainly in hospital environments due to its potency and the dangers associated with misuse of this drug. Ketamine side effects can be unpredictable outside of a hospital environment. For those struggling with a ketamine addiction, a ketamine rehab such as Delamere provides a lifeline, allowing users to take back control of their lives through a supported medical detox and intensive therapies.

During your stay at our retreat in the beautiful Cheshire countryside, you will interact with your peers during group therapies, and most likely during meals and your downtime. Building relationships with others in similar situations helps to take the shame away from your addictions and allows you to create a supportive community of peers. At Delamere, we have found our community of guests to be an invaluable asset to our retreat as it creates a safe and supportive space for members to open up and grow.

“Trauma and addiction experiences are met with words that celebrate coping strategies. We use affirming language that celebrates past survival strategies and coping mechanisms. This helps clients to feel self-compassion and be connected to their own story.”

The Delamere approach to ketamine rehab

An inpatient stay at Delamere is a deliberately intensive 4-phase ketamine rehab programme, one which we have crafted over time and has helped many participants recover. Our emphasis is on holistic care to treat addiction and associated issues. This means that we treat the whole person rather than just the symptoms they present with. We believe that successful treatment runs far deeper than simply stopping the addictive substance or behaviour.

Our approach at Delamere comprises 4 core phases: Stop, Start, Grow, & Bloom. Everything we offer at Delamere aims at effective and lasting outcomes in addiction treatment:

  • Delamere Treatment Model - Stop Icon
    Stage 1: Stop

This phase addresses any physical aspects of your addiction. Our medical team is on hand 24/7 to ensure a safe and effective withdrawal.

  • Delamere Treatment Model - Start Icon
    Stage 2: Start

During ‘Start’ we help identify the psychological underpinnings of your dependency as you participate in a variety of addiction treatment therapies.

  • Delamere Treatment Model - Grow
    Stage 3: Grow

Our ‘Grow’ phase is the process of integrating the Delamere learning experience into life after treatment.

  • Delamere Treatment Model - Bloom Icon
    Stage 4: Bloom

Our ‘Bloom’ phase offers intensive support on a weekly basis for the first three months of recovery once guests return home.

Frequently asked questions about ketamine addiction rehab

Why choose Delamere for ketamine rehab?

The best treatment for ketamine addiction comes in the form of a supervised and medically managed detox and a comprehensive residential rehabilitation programme. At Delamere, we provide our guests with an intensive 4-phase treatment programme to help them get to the root cause of their addictions in a relatively short space of time.

Our discrete, private rehab facility is set in the tranquillity of rural Cheshire, making it the perfect place to press pause and take the time to focus on getting well.

Is ketamine rehab necessary?

Contrary to the belief that ketamine does not cause physical dependence when used frequently, users will develop a tolerance to the drug. This causes those who frequently use ketamine to require larger doses in order to feel ketamine’s desired effects.

Ketamine, when abused, can cause tolerance and dependence to develop. On stopping ketamine where a dependence has occurred, a user will develop both psychological and physiological withdrawal symptoms. Ketamine rehab at Delamere provides a safe environment to stop using ketamine and complete a comfortable assisted detox.
