Group therapy for alcohol recovery at Delamere

Registered Nurse at Delamere

About Michelle

I am a registered Mental Health Nurse and who initially started my career at Delamere in 2021 before working in other areas of nursing to build upon my physical health knowledge and assessment skills. I missed the satisfaction I had whilst working at Delamere and the great passion for supporting and guiding individuals to lead a more healthier lifestyle. This led me to rejoin the clinical team at Delamere in August 2024. As part of my role, I am involved in the initial assessments when a guest first arrives with us, to provide a safe transition and settlement into Delamere. I thoroughly enjoy making a difference and providing a safe and comfortable experience for individuals during that first phase of their recovery. I enjoy building rapports with guests, allowing them to feel comfortable sharing any health concerns they may have, seeing them grow beyond addiction, leading them in good stead for their journey beyond Delamere.
