Why is rehab important for someone with an addiction?

Rehab provides you or a loved one with the chance to address the underlying causes of addiction and take steps to overcome it. A stigma surrounding addiction still very much exists in society and so, many people are often reluctant to admit they have an addiction and enter rehab. At Delamere, our fully residential private rehab offers a safe yet luxurious

environment, free from distraction and temptation, and a supportive community where you will meet others who are going through a similar experience on their own recovery journey. This can be a huge relief to those who have often felt misunderstood or isolated with their addiction, helping to take away any feelings of shame.

“Delamere was built from scratch to provide an environment and approach that is conducive to the nature of the work and healing that guests undergo.  Our award winning architecture and peaceful setting sets the tone for a comfortable and effective stay.”

What to expect at Delamere residential rehab

An inpatient stay at Delamere is a deliberately intensive 4-phase rehab experience, one which we have crafted over time and has helped many participants recover. Our emphasis is on holistic care to treat addiction and associated issues. This means that we treat the whole person rather than just the symptoms they present with. We believe that successful treatment runs far deeper than simply stopping the addictive substance or behaviour.

Our approach at Delamere comprises 4 core phases: Stop, Start, Grow, & Bloom. Everything we offer at Delamere aims at effective and lasting outcomes in addiction treatment:

  • Delamere Treatment Model - Stop Icon
    Stage 1: Stop

This phase addresses any physical aspects of your addiction. Our medical team is on hand 24/7 to ensure a safe and effective withdrawal.

  • Delamere Treatment Model - Start Icon
    Stage 2: Start

During ‘Start’ we help identify the psychological underpinnings of your dependency as you participate in a variety of addiction treatment therapies.

  • Delamere Treatment Model - Grow
    Stage 3: Grow

Our ‘Grow’ phase is the process of integrating the Delamere learning experience into life after treatment.

  • Delamere Treatment Model - Bloom Icon
    Stage 4: Bloom

Our ‘Bloom’ phase offers intensive support on a weekly basis for the first three months of recovery once guests return home.

How to encourage a loved one to go to rehab

If you are looking to help a family member, work colleague, or loved one, admit themselves to an addiction rehabilitation centre, we’re here to help. It may be that the person in question is in denial about the extent of their problem, possibly even refusing to acknowledge that there’s a problem – and resisting professional help. At Delamere, we provide family support services and help your loved one confront addiction and denial.

Should it be necessary, we also offer intervention services whereby we take the time to understand what is happening and help prepare and rehearse a formal intervention that will culminate in your loved one entering treatment with us. If you are considering organising an intervention for your loved one, friend, or colleague, contact Delamere today.

Frequently asked questions about private rehab

What is the average time for rehab at Delamere?

The minimum length of a residential stay at Delamere is 28 days. However, we understand that different people have different levels of addiction, so we offer longer stays with a further rehab aftercare programme once guests leave.

Contact us today to speak to our friendly admissions team for a free and confidential assessment and to discuss rehab durations.

Is private rehab better than outpatient rehab?

Whilst outpatient care might be right for some, for those in need of clinical detox or for those for whom the addiction has become entrenched, residential rehab is the recourse that is proven to be most effective. Delamere’s purpose-built residential rehab provides everything you need in terms of treatment within the same state-of-the-art facility. Here you can solely focus on your recovery without the added stress, pressure, temptation, and commitments that daily life brings.

How much does private rehab cost?

Investing in paying for rehab treatment is not just a life-saving experience, but a life-changing one. Our room rates vary depending on the length of stay and room type, but all packages include intensive therapy programmes, 5* quality home-cooked meals, exceptional accommodation, and a clinical detox. Weekly rehab aftercare sessions for 12 months after your stay are included in our 28- and 42-day packages.
