About Helen Yeadon

As a dedicated Registered Adult Nurse, I bring over eight years of nursing experience within the NHS sector and a deep-rooted passion for supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. Before qualifying as a nurse, I spent 12 years as a healthcare assistant in nursing homes, supported living, and community care settings, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in patient-centered care.

Prior to joining Delamere in 2024, I worked on a gastroenterology ward, where I cared for adults struggling with substance addiction. This experience ignited a passion for providing specialist, one-to-one care to individuals overcoming substance dependency. At Delamere, I find the most rewarding aspect of my role is witnessing the early positive transformations in our guests as they take their first steps toward lasting recovery.

Responsibilities

•  Admissions/Nursing Assessments/Discharging plans
• Treatment plans/Risk assessments
• Medication Administering/auditing
• Liaising with Dr and guests
• Support and encouragement through medical detoxes
• Support with health care needs and clinical needs
