Personalised recovery programmes to help you grow beyond addiction at our purpose-built treatment centre.
Xanax is the brand name of alprazolam, a highly addictive prescription drug of the Benzodiazepine family. Xanax is designed to boost chemicals in your brain to reduce feelings of fear, agitation and anxiety and prompt feelings of relaxation. This ‘high’ feeling is often what causes people to get hooked on Xanax.
With Xanax often being prescribed, many people who become addicted do so unintentionally. Building a tolerance and dependency from simply following their doctors orders.
If you think you’ve developed a dependency or addiction to Xanax, we understand what you’re going through and just how difficult it can be to kick the habit. Especially if you’ve been dependent on it for a long time.
Day-to-day you might feel drowsy, tired and weak; have frequent headaches, sleep for longer and not want to do anything with your day. And when you’re not using, these symptoms can get a whole lot worse, leading to severe insomnia, vomiting and even tremors in some cases.
Prolonged use of Xanax can have some serious side effects, many of which are permanent and irreversible. That’s why if you think you’ve developed an addiction to Xanax – it’s important you get the right help quickly.
At our purpose-built treatment centre in the heart of Cheshire, we’ve got everything you need to safely detox and grow beyond your addiction. Designed as a safe space to relax the body and mind, you’ll leave with the mindset and tools needed to live a life free from addiction with the support of our experienced team.
If you think you’re suffering from Xanax addiction or know someone who is, contact our team today and learn more about the different programmes we offer here at Delamere.
