Delamere is an oasis of calm and tranquillity – a haven where you can focus entirely on your recovery journey, free from the pressures of everyday life.
Our centre is set in the heart of the peaceful Delamere Forest, and has been designed with your comfort and recovery in mind. In fact, many of our former guests have found our en-suite rooms to be more than just a place to rest – instead providing a sanctuary and home away from home during their stay.
With our team of dedicated doctors and nurses by your side around the clock, you’ll always have the support you need, whenever you need it. Your bespoke programme will be packed with a diverse mix of therapies, somatic practices, and mindful exercises, all designed to aid in your recovery.
However, our mission at Delamere extends beyond helping you conquer your addiction. We aim to nurture your growth, inspiring you to flourish and achieve your full potential.
We understand that recovery is a deeply personal journey, unique to every individual. That’s why we don’t follow a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach. We focus on understanding the root causes that drive your addiction, adopting a holistic outlook that empowers you to take charge of your future.
Taking the first step towards treatment can seem daunting. We know you might have concerns about taking the leap, with particular worries about withdrawal symptoms, the duration of stay, privacy, or a stigma attached to rehab. However, we assure you:
Our clinic provides a medically supervised detox process to manage withdrawal symptoms
We offer flexible treatment plans tailored to your needs
Your privacy is our utmost priority, and all interactions are completely confidential
We foster an environment that removes stigma and promotes acceptance
Embarking on a recovery journey might feel overwhelming, but remember – every significant change begins with a single step. Today can be the day you take that step. Reach out to our team, and together, let’s chart a new course towards a healthier, happier future.
When you arrive, you’ll work with our clinical team to complete a thorough assessment of your physical and psychological health, which will include a number of quick and simple examinations such as breath and urine tests.
If you have become dependent on Zolpidem, the first phase of your care will involve a medically managed detox. This is facilitated on site at Delamere by our experienced medical team. Our primary goal initially is to help you settle in and help your body adjust to life without medication.
We’ll be with you throughout every stage and our 24/7 team of medical experts will monitor your progress and administer medication if necessary.Your comfort is of the utmost importance to us.
Moving into the second week of your treatment, you’ll then begin working alongside a dedicated therapist who will help you create a personalised schedule of counselling sessions and group therapy. It’s our aim to understand and treat the root causes of your addiction so we can ensure your recovery is for the long term.
Again, the idea of counselling may sound daunting to some, but it’s important to note that this stage is all about fostering understanding, promoting growth and encouraging personal progress.

Stop. Start. Grow
Your recovery journey from Zolpidem addiction takes the form of a three-stage process that’s carefully designed to deliver the most successful outcomes.
Stage 1: Stop
The first step at Delamere typically lasts around a week and addresses the physical aspects of your recovery, while gently introducing you to therapy and addiction education. This is all about halting your past habits – with a medically managed detox if necessary – stabilising your body and mind, and helping you feel as comfortable as possible.
Light therapy and core assignments are slowly introduced as you start to regain your physical strength – all with the aim of preparing you for the final two stages of our treatment process.
Throughout the ‘Stop’ stage, you will of course have full, unwavering support from our caring nursing professionals and devoted Recovery and Wellbeing teams.
Stage 2: Start
Next, you’ll transition into the ‘Start’ stage, which aims to reveal and understand the psychological root cause of your battle with Zolpidem.
Typically lasting two weeks, this phase will see you working closely with your assigned therapist, who will draw up a bespoke schedule of treatment that will include the likes of workshops, interactive group activities, somatic release work and individual therapy.
This stage also encompasses reflection and processing, utilising both traditional and innovative therapies such as dynamic meditation, body scanning, forest bathing, breathwork, drama and ritual.
Each activity is rooted in evidence-based practices, and our efforts are geared towards achieving lasting, positive outcomes.
Stage 3: Grow
Once you’ve completed the ‘Stop’ and ‘Start’ phases of treatment, you’ll be ready to embrace your life outside of the residence free of your dependency on Zolpidem.
However, in order to ensure you’re able to truly preserve the progress you’ve made with us, the ‘Grow’ phase focuses on helping you rebuild your life, heal relationships and maintain a strong connection with the team here at Delamere.
Remember, you’ll still have access to therapy sessions for up to a year after you leave and will end your treatment with a personalised plan of action for maintaining your amazing progress beyond rehab.
